The highly anticipated eFootball™ Championship 2024 is reaching its thrilling conclusion. After intense competitions, starting with the Club Event in December 2023 and the Open Event in January 2024, the winners have been determined. Now, 32 elite players, combining mobile and console competitors, will battle for the world championship title in Tokyo.
Event Details
The eFootball™ Championship 2024, the largest official eFootball™ competition with over 39.76 million participants, will determine world champions in Console and Mobile categories. The top 16 players in each category will compete in the Group Stage on July 20th. Those who advance will enter the Knockout Stage on July 21st. Held at the KONAMI Creative Center Ginza in Tokyo, the event will be broadcast live on YouTube. Note the start times: Day 1 (July 20) at 3:00 UTC, and Day 2 (July 21) at 4:00 UTC.
Streaming Hosts and Commentators
The streaming program will feature English eFootball™ experts, with Harry Channon as the presenter and Spaniard ex-pro player Alex Alguacil as the commentator and pundit. Joining them, just like last year, will be the narrator Kate, with special guest Harry Sugiyama, a well-known soccer enthusiast in Japan, appearing on Day 2.
Format of the World Finals
Day 1: The competition kicks off with group stage matches. Players are divided into groups of four, with separate leagues for mobile and console platforms. Each player will face off in a round-robin format, earning 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss. There will be a total of 6 matches per platform to determine the only top one player who will advance to Day 2.
Day 2: The top 4 players from each platform (mobile and console) will move on to the knockout stage. This final stage will feature intense elimination matches to crown the ultimate champions.

Viewing Campaign
1000 eFootball™ points for both days will be awarded to each person who tunes in to the live stream programme through a link published within the eFootball™ video game. The prize will not be available if the stream is accessed directly from YouTube or Facebook, so make sure you access directly from the link that will be available the days before the first matchday.
