The Featured match between FC Barcelona and Juventus kicked off almost immediately in the Blaugrana club’s favor with rookie ALEXR’s shot in minute 9’. The result was quickly equalized in minute 11’ by Juventus’ IL DISTRUTTORE44, bringing the score to 1-1 where it remained for the majority of the competition. It was LoScandalo who earned the first victory for the Italian trio in minute 91’, after several missed chances by Barcelona.
The second match included a one man goal show by IL DISTRUTTORE44, where eFootball.Pro IQONIQ fans witnessed “one of the most important performances” of the season as the Italian player accomplished an impressive personal feat while also leading his team to a second win and all six points on the league table. He scored his first shot in minute 8’, followed by a second in minute 30’, and completed a hat trick in minute 78’. For good measure, he even achieved a fourth goal in minute 89’, successfully doubling his season tally in one game and single-handedly creating Juventus’ 0-4 final result.
FC Bayern München vs. Arsenal FC
The second matchup of the day was between FC Bayern München and Arsenal FC. English club captain INDOMINATOR was the first of the day to put his team on the scoreboard with his shot in minute 33’. Just after halftime, the Gunners committed a defensive error, leading to the penalty kick that allowed MESTRE to equalize the score in minute 53’. INDOJAWA achieved Arsenal FC’s first win of the match with his goal in minute 66’, earning them three points at the conclusion of the 1-2 game.
Next it was FC Bayern München who began with a lead, due to team captain JOSE’s minute 36’ goal. INDOMINATOR once again scored for his club, creating a draw of 1-1 between the German and English teams. Despite Bayern’s efforts, barboza secured a second win of the day for Arsenal FC in minute 93’, changing the result to 1-2 and granting all six points to his club, which also landed them in the first place position on the league table.
Manchester United FC vs. AS Monaco
Manchester United FC and AS Monaco faced off in the third fixture of Matchday 5. Manchester United FC captain E_C_Oneill brought the English club into the lead by minute 3’ of the first game. It wasn’t until just before halftime that Monaco managed to bring the score back to a tie, in minute 44’ with Kilzyou’s first goal of the day. In the following half of the game, Lotfi joined the action with back-to-back goals in minutes 57’ and 76’, creating AS Monaco’s 1-3 lead that they maintained for the remainder of the game.
Ostrybuch aided Manchester United FC in starting the second game ahead as well with his first shot in minute 11’. He then followed it with another in minute 33’, that was quickly countered by Kilzyou’s goal in minute 36’. Ostrybuch completed a hat trick in minute 48’, increasing the English club’s lead 3-1. Lotfi attempted to bring the Monegasque club back ahead with his goal in minute 48’, however Ostrybuch’s fourth successful shot of the game in minute 50’ halted those plans, despite Lotfi’s best efforts with a final attempt in minute 55’, ultimately granting the English club three points for their 4-3 win.
The fourth fixture of the day featured two goal shows between FC Schalke 04 and Celtic FC. MeroMen achieved the first in minute 5’, creating a lead that was quickly evened out by Gagliardo28 in minute 7’ of his eFootball.Pro IQONIQ debut for Celtic FC. Fellow rookie umbee96_ then brought the Scottish team ahead with his shot in minute 10’, a lead which was increased by an own goal of EL_Matador in minute 48’. While Urma’s late play in minute 80’ brought the German club closer to an equalized result at 2-3, Jorcha guaranteed Celtic’s first three points in minute 88’ bringing the score to 2-4.
Gagliardo28 continued with his impressive first matchday in the second game in minute 3’, bringing the score in the Scottish team’s favor. The entire FC Schalke 04 roster played a role in creating their 3-1 lead, with Urma’s goal in minute 13’, MeroMen’s in minute 30’ and EL_Matador in minute 54’. Celtic FC made one last attempt to get ahead with Jorcha’s shot in minute 78’, but Urma’s third of the day brought the final result to 4-2, leaving both FC Schalke 04 and Celtic FC with three points to take to the league table.
Matchday 5 concluded with the two new clubs of the 2020-21 season, AS Roma and Galatasaray SK, facing off. The first game was a low scoring competition, with only one goal achieved by each club. KEPA achieved the Italian club’s successful shot in minute 14’, which was the only one of the game until minute 80’ with Kruji’s first goal of the season during his second matchday competing for Galatasaray SK. This led to the only draw of the fifth matchday, resulting in each team taking one point at the end of the game.
The next competition featured another closely fought match, this time starting in Galatasaray SK’s favor after StavAttack’s goal in minute 2’. Aca and KEPA then helped AS Roma take the lead with shots in minutes 29’ and 33’. Top defensive player Mucahit21 equalized the score in minute 44’ at 2-2, which was quickly countered by Roma captain RoksaCzv22 in minute 47’. With back-to-back goals that ultimately completed a hat trick, StavAttack scored in minute 63’, and then again in minute 79’ with a successful penalty kick, leading the Turkish team to a 3-4 victory.
