The eFootball™ Championship 2024, the largest official eFootball™ competition with over 39.76 million participants, has come to a thrilling conclusion. Held at the KONAMI Creative Center Ginza in Tokyo, the two-day event saw the world's top eFootball™ players battle for supremacy in both the Console and Mobile categories.
Event Highlights
Day 1 - Group Stage:
The competition kicked off with intense group stage matches on July 20th. Players were divided into groups of four, competing in a round-robin format. Each match was a test of skill and strategy, with 3 points awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. After a total of 6 matches per platform, the top players advanced to the knockout stage.
Day 2 - Knockout Stage:
On July 21st, the top 4 players from each platform (mobile and console) faced off in the high-stakes knockout stage. These elimination matches were filled with nail-biting moments and spectacular gameplay, culminating in the crowning of the world champions.
