The second Club Event of the eFootball™ 2024 season, within its general open competition eFootball™ Championship 2024, reaches the final round to decide which 2 fortunate players, for the mobile and console platforms, will be FC Bayern's representatives at the World Finals, to be held in Tokyo this summer.
The outcome of the FC Bayern Finals can be followed in a live streaming starting tomorrow Thursday 28th at 13:00 CET on the YouTube and Facebook channels of eFootball™. The streaming programme will be hosted by the usual trio from previous seasons with Semra Hunter as host with Harry Channon as narrator for all matches and Stewart Westley "Wezza" as commentator, to whom a special guest will be added to comment only on the two Grand Finals: the FC Bayern live legend Thomas Müller.
FORMAT OF THE FINALS
After the 3 online qualifiers divided in 4 regions of the world, 1 representative per region and platform will be present this Thursday at Allianz Arena stadium to vye in the FC Bayern Finals for a spot in this summers’ World Finals in Tokyo, representing FC Bayern and becoming the Bavarian team’s next promising eSports start.
Fourteen matches will be played in the Club Finals, but only 8 of them will be shown live on the eFootball™ YouTube and Facebook channels. Check the entire list of matchups below:
The FC Bayern Club Finals will consist of a Group Stage for each platform, played in round robin format (all against each other, but just once) and with a points reward of 3 points for the win, 1 for the tie and 0 for the loss. A total of 6 matches per platform will be held to know which players are the top 1 and 2 ranked that will go on to the Grand Finals.
All matches, including the Grand Finals, will be played at a single game, adding more emotion to the moment, and the Grand Finals will have a playoff in case of a tie after the 90 in-game minutes and a penalty shoot-out as tie-breaker.
