The eFootball™ Championship 2024 season reaches the fifth Club Event Finals to decide the representatives of the Gunners on the mobile and console categories at the World Finals, to be held in Tokyo in July.
The online Arsenal FC Finals showdown can be followed in a live streaming starting tomorrow Saturday May 11th at 13:00 CEST on the YouTube and Facebook channels of eFootball™. The streaming programme will be hosted by Semra Hunter alongside eFootball’s experts Harry Channon, as narrator, and Stewart Westley "Wezza", as pundit.
FORMAT OF THE FINALS
The 8 participants in tomorrow’s Arsenal FC Finals, 4 on mobile and 4 on console, have won their berths after clearing 4 online qualifiers divided in 4 areas of the world and becoming the Regional winners in their respective regions. Same as other Club Events Finals, Arsenal’s will consist of a Group Stage for each platform, played in round robin format (all against each other, but just once) and with a points reward of 3 points for the win, 1 for the tie and 0 for the loss. A total of 6 matches per platform will be held to know which players are the top 1 and 2 ranked that will go on to the Grand Finals.
In the mobile category, China's CNFC-FIREWOLF is back in a finals after FC Bayern München, where he failed to make it to the Grand Final. This time he will be looking to become champion against 3 new contenders, the content creators and YouTubers DennisBernardYT and mr tomboyYT, from Indonesia and India respectively, and the young Moroccan Lamtti, who already qualified for the FC Bayern Finals but was unable to attend the event in Munich.
The console category, meanwhile, features some old acquaintances from the international eFootball™ scene. Multi-champion Usmakabyle will be looking for their third appearance at the World Finals in Tokyo after two unsuccessful attempts at the FC Barcelona and AC Milan Finals. He will have his work cut out for him as he faces last year's AS Roma captain URMA43 from Romania and South American champion MelianTheKing from Argentina. Joining the Finals roster of contenders is a new challenger, the young Japanese Ax, so far unknown in international eFootball™ tournaments, but with great potential.
Fourteen matches will be played in the Finals, but only 8 of them will be shown live on the eFootball™ YouTube and Facebook channels. Check the entire list of matchups below:
Mark your calendars for the Arsenal FC Finals on 11th May from 13:00 CEST and don’t miss a single minute of the exciting showdown!
